190 PR with 75 points for NSW and VIC- occupation 263111

Hi My husband is the primary applicant (ANZSCO-263111) and mine is dependent(ANZSCO-261314) we initiated the 190 for NSW and Vic with 75 points in total on April 11 this year.

Any idea by when we can expect invite by either of these?

Meanwhile - for 189(65 points eoi) is also applied.

I am a bit confused as to how you have 65 points for 189 and 75 for 190?

189 Breakdown:
Age-30
Education-15
Experience-10
PTE-10

190 Breakdown:
Age-30
Education-15
Experience-10
PTE-10
Partner- 5
State-5

My husband cannot claim 5 partner points because our occupations do not fall under same list for 189.

I think the same occupation list rule is applicable for both 189 and 190 visa.

The chances are low for an invite with 65 points in 189 category as 263111 falls in Pro-rata category.

At this time, people with 75 points are getting an invite. My suggestion is to increase the points to 75.

For 190, there is no estimate as states do not share their data.

Below is the details of my role “Software Tester”[261314]

  • 190 - Skilled Nominated (subclass 190)
  • 407 - Training visa (subclass 407)
  • 489 - Skilled Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 489) - State or Territory nominated
  • 482 - Temporary Skill Shortage visa (subclass 482) - Short Term Stream
  • 187 - Regional Sponsor Migration Scheme (subclass 187)
So I don’t have an option of 189 and hence my husband cannot claim 5 partner points for 189.

Hi @Qasim

I am not aware of any recent invite that has been sent by NSW. Are you currently living in NSW? If not, then there is no chance of invite as per new NSW rules.

Thanks Anil. I am not currently living in NSW and understand now the additional criteria that till June 2020 (or whenever NSW decides to change this criteria for 26311), no NSW invite for those not meeting the requirement of 1 year work in NSW.
Question: does it apply for VIC as well? Please advise which other states a 263111 applicant can submit EOI (where such criteria does not exist). my points now are 80 (without SS). Thanks

As far as I know, Victoria does not have a resident condition at this time.
