ACS experience deduction confusion for ICT security 262112 with ICT Major Degree

I have a positive assessment from ACS, done in Dec 2019.

I am adding the two letters I received along with the assessment result.

One of the letters states: “The following employment after 17 September 2018 is considered to equate to work at an appropriately skilled level and relevant to ANZSCO Code 262112 (ICT Security Specialist).”

However, at the same time, it is mentioned that both my experiences in 1st employment and 2nd employment are valid for the ANZSCO code 262122.

My 1st experience role started in 2016 while the 2nd experience role began in 2017, hence I am confused about what the “employment after 17 September 2018 is considered” statement means as both experiences are mentioned as valid in both the letters.

How many years of total experience in this case will be considered for the points calculation??

Also, my degree is assessed with a Major in Computing.

I am adding the letters here with sensitive details hidden…

PS: ignore the part about adding 2 more years, that was for another query I had.

I have this email below from the acs, so I think it makes sense now, just wanted to know if is there any change in this calculation from 2021?

Thank you for your email.

The assessor will always try to calculate the earliest skilled date for all applicants.

As your qualification was assessed as being closely related to the nominated occupation, you were required to demonstrate EITHER 2 years of experience in the last 10 years OR 4 years of experience in any time period. The rule applied to an application will be the one that gives the applicant the earliest date of meeting ACS requirements.

Your employment at XXXXXXXX was not accepted as you were paid by cash, therefore is NOT accepted as professional ICT employment.
