ACS Negative result - core business of the companies in which applicant has been employed has not been found to be at professional level in ICT

Hello everyone and Experts,
wanted to share my case that i have submitted my ACS application through RPL because i have Non-ICT degree on 23rd September, 2019 and received the result at 24 october, 2019 which shows negative.

I have submitted the RPL alongwith all the relevant documents like Payslip, tax certificate, bank statement, company registration FBR certificate, diplomas and certificate.

Negative Skill assessment result objection : “The core business of the companies in which applicant has been employed has not been found to be at professional level in ICT.”

Need expert advices that Is this objection is valid ?should i go for appeal ?

Which job code did you apply for and what companies do you work for?

Computer network and system engineer.

January 2004 to June 2014 as a network engineer
July 2014 to till date 15yrs of experience as Manager Network.

The both companies are one of the leading & renowed companies of the country.

My past company has more then 300 employees and providing the different solutions to the industry.

My current company is one the biggest group of the country.
They have got multiple business and large no. Of clients list. it has more then 400 employees.

My point is that ACS had never mentioned or highlighted in skill assessment guidelines or in their official website that the assessment will be assessed on the core business of the company and result outcome will be dependent on core business in ICT Professional.

For example if applicant is working in Toyota Company as a network engineer but the toyota company core business is to sell cars so it means you are not eligible for skill assessment because Toyota core business is to sell cars not in ICT Professional level.

The network system is still exist in toyota company and some network engineers must be employed and working as a IT Specialist.

So there is no point of negative assessment result on basis of core business of the company.

Have u ever gone through or seen in skill assessment guidelines or in their official website that the assessment will be assessed on the core business of the company.

I think the reason your assessment has been denied is because your education does not match your work experience.

Since you submitted RPL, they have found that it cannot be considered as the companies you worked for does not do any development work in computer systems.

You can email ACS for explanation or may file for review if you want.

Thank u Anil for ur valuable time and suggestion.

I have done certification and trainings during my IT Experiences and all the certification certificates already been submitted.

It means In NIKE COMPANY Whose core business is to sell shoes no IT specialist is working because their core business is not at ICT Professional level and no IT infrastructure is to be at backend.

Even the most government core business is not at ICT Professional level but at backend there is a huge IT infrastructure is being established and time by time upgraded.

I don’t think you are able to understand the reason of denial.

ACS has basically denied saying that your work does not really seem like any real network engineer coding or similar.

For more information, you can check with ACS.

Thank you for responding…
Ahan so dat was their perception…Any key or idea through which i can defend my experience and able to change their perception about my companies…

Its not their perception. The decision is given on the basis of paperwork you submit and not their perception.

What is written in your documents is taken in consideration to evaluate your application.

Thank you so much Anil for ur valuable time and suggestions…
