Applying for Indian tourist visa while OCI application is pending

Hi,
My OCI application is pending and I am in urgent need to travel to India. Can I apply for India tourist/e-visa while OCI is still pending?

I am not sure but you should be able to apply for visa as long as you don’t hold Indian passport.
