My child received her EAD 2 weeks back. She is yet to get her SSN . Is there a way to track ?
Also if 765 is approved will she be eligible for upcoming stimulus??
There is no way to track the SSN application as far as I know. It usually takes about 4-6 weeks to get SSN.
You can also visit the local SSN office and ask for checking the status of the application and they may or may not honor the request.
She should be eligible for the stimulus package once she gets the SSN and you have filed the tax return using her SSN.
If you have already filed the tax return using her ITIN, then you may be able to claim the stimulus in next year’s tax return using her SSN.
