Chances of 189 / 190 as a University Lecturer

Hello Guys,

Need a genuine advice from experts here.

I have done Masters in Dental Surgery & Bachelors in Dental Surgery. Above that I have 2 years of work experience as an Associate Lecturer in a reputed university.

My total points to apply for 189 & 190 Visa comes to 80 & 85 respectively.

My question is:

  1. Being from a dental (medical) field, am I eligible as a University Lecturer?
  2. What are the chances of getting 189 / 190 visa on my profile?

Have you checked if you first need AHPRA registration or not?

If you are offshore, your chances are reduced with these points as DHA is having a very small invitation round since the last few months and is targeted for onshore Healthcare occupations. States aren’t inviting offshore applicants for now and no idea when they will resume that. So, in that case, it will be a waiting time for you. Wish you luck!
