Hi Anil

I have a question regarding H4-EAD renewal process. My spouse Employer filed H1-B and H4 extensions. I need to file my H4-EAD renewal application as the existing one expires in December 2020. When i downloaded form from USCIS website it has valid date till may 31 2020. so can i apply renewal using this form or do i need to wait for the updated form. And i have also seen in your blog that EAD application rejected due to wrong i765 version. so can you suggest what are my options?

I’m applying H4EAD and I have below queries.

1.Latest available Form I-765 in USCIS website contain expires 05/31/2020 .
Query :Do I need to use the same Form for applying H4 EAD as we are now in July month.
2. My H4 approval is from California center and my husband’s H1B approval is from Texas.
Query : H4 EAD application should be sent to Texas or California center.
3.My latest H4(I-797) contain I-94 expiry date of oct-2021 and my husband’s H1B(I-797) contain expiry date of June 2022 .
Query : Approved H4 EAD expiry date is based on my I-94 or is it based on husband’s I-94.

Thanks @SuBhA_RoCkStAr! I am still waiting for EAD, filed in Jan’20 (More than 7 months now), Max time is approximately 5 months at Texas Service Center as per USCIS website. i539 got approved 2 weeks back now waiting for this one.

Hi everyone,

My opt extension is rejected due to older version if i765. Its been 1 month but I did not receive the package. When called US CIS they said that the package will contain set of instructions to resubmit the application can one of you post the instructions so that I can resubmit instead of waiting for my package
