My H1B transfer application was filed on Mar 5, 2019 with USCIS California Service Center. When can the immigration lawyer expect a copy of Receipt Notice (I797C) from USCIS?

It takes anywhere from 7 to 21 days to receive USCIS case receipt number.

I presume you are talking about an email from USCIS here and not the physical copy. Is that correct?

I am talking about physical mail sent by USCIS through USPS.

Hi @nish

The paper receipt notice can take 1-10 days. Email receipt is sent to employer/attorney within 1 day for H1B premium cases.

@Anil.Gupta - My case was filed on 23rd October. I have still not received the receipt notice yet. Have you heard about any deals these days?

As i said earlier, paper notices take 1-10 days. Check with your employer for email receipt notice. They must have received it.
