am filling the online indian passport application at the gov of india website. I reside in california usa and do not have an indian address of my own or that of my parents to provide.
The online application is mandatorily asking for an indian address for police verification i am not able to bypass.
Can i provide address and contact details of a family friend in india?? Also what police district information should i fill? Is it the police district of the person whose indian address i will need to provide for police verification or is it the police district of the address i resided in beforw i left india in 2003
