Hi Anil ,

Need a help , My H1B amendent + extension due to role change was not filled on time ( might get filed this week or next), please let me know how messy is my sistution , how it make impact future extension and what are my options ?

My current H1 petion is valid till next year March.

I have moved to new role just last week .

Looking for advice / help

It is better to ask HR to make sure that they don’t change your role in their records before an amendment is filed.

With the current government and the kind of scrutiny expected, you don’t want to end up on wrong side of law.
