My H4 to H1B was approved back in 2021, I got a new job after that. My employer says he took a new LCA with a new client’s address. But he did not file an amendment for the same even though there are location changes beyond 50 miles. He doesn’t want to file now an amendment since the position start date is a few months ago.
Now my employer says, He got a call from USCIS saying LCA and petition have different addresses(Work location). also says needs to find a new position with another client for file amendment. I’m not sure if USCIS will call directly without sending a notice. Does it happen?
During this time, is it suggestible to switch to another employer(H1b Transfer) to avoid all these issues?
