H4 Denial for new employer

My H1, H4 & H4 EAD extension filed in December 2020. H1 approved quickly because of premium processing. H4 & H4 EAD was pending.

I got new job offer, they filed H1, H4 & H4 EAD together in June 2021. Only H1 approved quickly and joined company in July 2021.

In August 2021 old company’s H4 approved and in Oct 2021 H4-EAD approved. My spouse started using the approved EAD from previous company to work.

Few days back I saw new company’s H4 is denied and EAD is still pending.

Is there any problem for my spouse because of this denial & using EAD.

My guess is this was denied as her prior application was approved however you will need to wait for the USCIS denial notoce to find out exact reason.

I dont think so. Also she can use EAD as far she is in a valid H4 status which she is based on the prior approval of extensionof status.
Note that H4/EAD are not tied to specific employer, the status is rather a derivative of primary H1B.
