H4 EAD has end date later than H1

Hi Anil and others ,

My h1 expires on aug 2021 and my wife’s h4 ead expires on aug 2022 . In that when to file h4 ead extension ?

Also , what is the current processing time for h4 and ead extension . Can we file h1 premium in current situation ?

You can file H4 and H4 EAD extension together with H1B extension.

H1B premium is available.

But her h4 and h4 ead expires in 2022 . 180 day rule doesn’t apply in this case ?

USCIS sometimes allows the H4 EAD extension along with H1B extension/transfer.
