@AM22Tech_Admin It would be helpful if you can speak to the law firm and ask them why this is taking so long now, and if they can speed things up. It would help us understand what is going on and hopefully they might act on it faster with pressure from your end.
Thank You.
@AM22Tech_Admin @anil_am22 speaking to them on our behalf would really help . Please see if you can help us out here ⌠we have exhausted all options
Hi @stuart007
Many cases are seeing this delay from USCIS lawyer and the attorney is following up on each case daily
to push them to give result without arguing in the court.
Rest assured, they are doing whatever they can from their side to push USCIS and their lawyers.
Today was my last day of my EAD. @AM22Tech_Admin they kept telling me since October that I had enough time and that my EAD would come they assured me . I wish they had given me a realistic timeline and that way I would have been mentally prepared. They kept giving me false hope!! I feel like I was deceived by them and my entire $4402.00 wasted . I wish your team had done a better job researching the law firm !!! As for them trying , it is a bit too late for that now !!!
Sorry to hear about your job loss.
As for the expectations with the court case, we have clearly outlined in our article that one should have realistic expectations and it can take anywhere between 4-120 days.
The case can go even longer if USCIS decides to argue it in the court. You have sued the USCIS and they have the legal right to fight it out in the court.
There is no guarantee of success as it depends on the judge on how he sees the situation with your case.
Please understand that it is a court case and it has its own process. There is no guarantee of fast processing as has been clearly mentioned in our article.
We are not giving false hopes to any one. We are just trying to help as this is one of the best LEGAL option you have if your EAD has been pending for long time.
It would help you and everyone if you understand how a court case works and go through the article in FULL before committing to it.
If you do not understand how the legal process in the court works, then it will end up in frustrations for you.
@AM22Tech_Admin not you , it was the law firm that gave me assurance. What are we to make of that. Then please tell them not to give out such messages when they talk to potential clients. Again this is not the first time I have filed a mandamus case so I know how they work. The earlier law firm did not set any expectations but ensured my case was approved in time. That is all we ask! Oh and definitely remove the 4 between 4-120 days because it is now 70- to God knows how many ! That would be more accurate for people who wish to file cases in future
Thanks for your feedback.
We have written 4 days as we did see multiple approvals within a week of filing the case.
We understand that your case (and many others) are seeing extended time even when attorney has done his best to reach out to USCIS lawyers.
Unfortunately, they have not agreed and hence the delays. The court will take its due time to force USCIS to file a reply.
We will definitely share your feedback and concerns with the law firm.
@nandini_bagchi1 Sorry to hear about your case. I had the same fate in December, so can understand how low it feels. They kept assuring me since October that my case would be approved âany day nowâ. Rest is history. Itâs January now and still the same status. As you rightly mentioned, they should not have given such lame and hollow assurances from their side.
@AM22Tech_Admin The way you guys jump in to defend the lawfirm is highly disappointing. We are not blaming you, but sharing our personal experiences with this lawfirm. You should note that 100% of the folks here are fed-up and several have even lost their jobs. We all blindly chose them after seeing the reference on you portal. Like a few people mentioned, please be careful before recommending any lawfirm in future. If everyone here is having this horrible experience (and not just regarding approval delays, but also not able to get in touch with them and getting responses/updates), the problem is NOT with us, but obviously on the other side. Peopleâs livelihoods are at stake here and its no joke.
Thanks for the feedback. We will definitely work on it.
@Fischer I totally agree - this entire thing has become an ordeal now. I had so much of faith when i filed the case but its a crushing disappointment .
I have been in the same boat as the rest here since Oct, literally tired of hearing that approval will come any day now, and honestly disappointed in the law firm as they never respond to calls/email/messages.
@AM22Tech_Admin if multiple people are complaining the same thing about the law firm then we seriously urge you to intervene with the lawfirm and get us some transparency on our cases, afterall we did retain them based on your recommendation.
Our bad luck that we are struck with a lawfirm who either doesnât know how to deal with delays in Mandamus or are not capable of handling large volume of clients (Thanks to amtech22) either way this was the last time I am ever dealing with them and for anybody who wishes to hire them in future, I would suggest think twice if it is really worth spending $4500 for nothing. At this point these guys are slower than USCIS, if we had to wait this long without any change in status we might have aswell gone with the USCIS processing timeline, anyways the two are almost overlapping. Atleast that way we wouldnât have had any false hope. Since so much time has lapsed now, when ever i get my Approval i will never be sure if it was under normal processing time or because of the Litigation.
Thanks for your feedback. We understand that the cases are seeing delay from USCIS now.
Unfortunately, none of the 80+ people who got their approvals within 4-30 days have come here and left a review due to privacy concerns.
We do agree that there are delays now but the mandamus case has worked for over 80+ people that have filed cases through the same law firm in last 4 months.
We hope that everyone gets their approval soon as the intention is to help and not delay.
@AM22Tech_Admin @anil_am22 - Guys, please do something rather than share the same post and snapshots. We trust you; that is why we file litigation, and We all are waiting from Oct or Nov. Most of us wait for more than 6o days.
I request all, please update us about your approvals.
@Vineet1 - any updates on your litigation case?
Thanks for the response. We understand there is a delay from USCIS in approving cases, which is exactly why we took the route of litigation. The guidelines of Mandamus clearly states they are required to provide an answer within 60 days. In most of our cases we have crossed 60 days and nothing has happened, our question is directed to the lawfirm, why arenât they doing anything about it?
And if they are, then why are we not kept in the loop? Our frustration is on the lack of communication & transparency from the lawfirm.
There have been no updates from the attorney or USCIS, and the employer has ultimately terminated employment.
@Vineet1 I am sorry you have to go through this. This is what lack of research, false hope along with through mismanagement by a law firm has done to us. I have told my friends not to file litigation as it would lead to nothing except loosing out $4402.00 and their jobs. This way at least they will save some money and peace of mind . @Lakshmi_Reddy you are right we will never really know if it was the litigation or normal processing time when ever our visas are approved !!!
@Vineet1 - I am so sorry to hear about your case.
Thanks @Lakshmi_Reddy for sharing constructive and valuable feedback.
We are working with the law firm to improve communication from their side.
We hope that they will be able to respond with concrete answers.
@Tina_Nanda @Lakshmi_Reddy @Fischer @Vineet1 any updates on your case . This is so frustrating. I donât know what else to do!! @AM22Tech_Admin were you able to talk to the law firm ? There is absolutely no communication!!!
