H4 extension pending more than 365 days

My H4 extension filed in Aug 2020 is still pending. Texas Service center. Raised couple of expedite requests and both denied. Raised SR and response is that “We have had to perform additional review and this has caused a delay in processing time. Your case is currently in line for processing and adjudication. Cases are processed in the order in which they were received”

Anyone else had same status? Does that mean additional review is complete now?

This is a standard language that they use. They simply mean that your case is under processing.

@anil_am22 - Considering its been a year, any other avenues that you can suggest. Do you think filing a litigation will work in this case?

Unless you need an EAD based on this H4, I do not see any real benefit in filing the case or running after them to approve it.

The court case will easily cost upwards of 5k to start with.
