H4 I-94 Expiring, is H4 EAD Valid

Hello,

My wife I-94 is expiring at the end of Feb 2022 (passport expiration) but has valid H4 visa and H4 EAD till Oct 2022. Can she continue working since her EAD is valid? or do we need to file for extension to continue working?
Any advise on this would be helpful.

You need valid H4 I-94 to keep working on H4 EAD.

File H4 extension of status or visit the CBP at Mexico border to extend the I-94 till Oct 2022 and you can continue working.
