Hello,

I got H-4 biometric appointment for my wife. I have question on ID proof document required during the biometric appointment as currently in the USA.

Don’t have ANY original documents for H4 Biometrics Appointment. Only have ASC original biometric appointment notice letter, Xerox copy of Passport. no DL, no State ID as I am new in USA and don’t have any other valid document other than passport which has been sent to IRS for ITIN and not received yet.

Can I use copy of passport for h4 biometrics appointment on scheduling date and time?

only passport and biometric appointment with barcode & second page particulars filled-in, is enough

This sounds a bit strange that you are new to the US and still filed an extension?

You should get either driving licence or a state ID if you can’t produce passport. A government issued photo ID is mandatory.
