How long an employee can stay in the current employer after the H1B got transferred to a new employer?
Here, the new employer says that they got email confirmation from USCIS but did not receive the Paper copy I797 approval notice?

It is your choice to stay with the current employer as long as you want.

The new H1B employer cannot force you to join. You can even decide to keep working for the current employer if you decide to not join the new employer.

what I understand from reply is, an employee can join with new employer when ever he wants. If the employee wish to stay with current employer, he can stay even H1B got transferred to new employer.

thanks but is it possible for legal issue from new employer for not joining ?
