I94 expired on cbp website but it is valid on i797

@Anil.Gupta - First, thank you for providing information to people facing critical issues.

I have a similar case like @Shubham_Vijayvargiya.

I had H1B transfer approved (valid till June, 2022) and new job started in Aug, 2019. I went to Canada via land in Oct, 2019 for 2 days of work. I went there as PR of Canada. I have H1B stamp in my passport from previous employer until Feb, 2020. When I came back, the CBP officer did not stamp my passport for entry and I showed him my latest I-797 which is valid till June, 2022. I did not pay any fees for I-94.
When I checked my I-94 last week, it still shows expiry date of Feb, 2020 and it looks CBP officer did not use my latest I797 I94 to update my records. In this online I94, the last entry date is Oct, 2019 with same I94 number as my I797 I94 number.

  1. Does it mean new I-94 was generated?
  2. If yes, then what are my options to get I-94 corrected/updated?

Thank you so much in advance!
