Impact on H4 EAD

Recently my H1-B petition and COS got approved while I was working on H4 EAD for a different company.

I wasn’t aware that my petitioner has filed COS and worked for more than a month on H4-EAD.

Now, I’m going overseas and return with H4 Visa so that I can be back on H4 status. Does anyone know if I return with the H4 visa, my H4-EAD is still valid?

As far as your EAD is valid and you are in H4 status you can use it.

Do you know how to check if the EAD is valid? using the case number from the receipt?

EAD validity date is printed on the card.
