Is it ok to opt for In person Visa appointment at consulate office in India when you are eligible for drop box appointment as drop box appointments are very rare to get?
US embassy in Delhi officially said that you can answer the dropbox question incorrectly and then go for interview appointment.
But, they did not mention if it will cause any issue in the future or not. They have left it on you to make that decision.
Wow, insane. Why dont they just update their system to let applicant choose instead between dropbox ( if eligible) and interview!
