Only primary owner needs to create POA or all owners?

Hi Anil,

I am going to purchase a flat which are owned by husband & wife, only she has singed & registered Power of Attorney with his father. both couples are living in US and person who has PoA has told us as she is primary owner of property thus she has only signed the PoA. is this correct.

or both owner needs to sign the PoA, please verify… Thanks in advance.

What does ‘primary owner’ really mean? As far as i know, if her husband has joint ownership of even 1% of property, you should get his PoA as well to save yourself from hassles later.
