Passport renewal on hold - Indian address proof mismatch

Hello All

My passport renewal application was put on hold by vfs after sending the application due to Indian address proof mismatch between the submitted doc Vs address mentioned in the application.

However the only mistake I see is a misspell in the application form and rest all is good.

How can it be corrected in the application form as the submiitted address proof is the correct one.

I have tried to contact VFS via the online contact form by selecting second option ( i.e., after submitting application form inquiry) but its not allowing to submit the form and im not getting any email confirmation. Not sure if that online contact form has any techincal issues?

Plese suggest if the misspell can be corrected in the application form post submission while pending with VFS ?

Govt. Application cannot be edited once submitted (unless someone has the ability to unlock it again for editing - which I haven’t heard of).
