If I change my job during this period and transfer H1B to employer B, is the current pending EAD application for my spouse cancelled/denied?

H1B transfer should not impact your spouse EAD application.

Also, if I decide to switch to employer B after spouse receives EAD (8 months down the line) what kind of transfers/applications will be required for my spouse? Reminder H4 I-797 is valid for 3 more years

Nothing required for your spouse after you switch employer if H4 is valid for a longer period. You can apply for H4 extension and EAD within 180 days of expiry based on your I797 at that point in time.

1. Did you end up filing for fresh H4 and H4 EAD with your spouse’s H1B transfer? If so, how soon was it approved?
2. What happened to your previous H4 and H4 EAD application? Was a decision made on that too?
