I did not expect August draw to be so strict. It looks like only 100 invites were sent.

If this trend continues, there is no chance of invitation till Nov 2019 with 75 points.

Ok thanks @Anil.Gupta , my ACS would expire after 2 years on 6 Oct 2019. Should i then initiate a re-assessment if the invite is not coming anytime by the end of Oct draw.

Yes, you should get a new assessment on or before the current one’s expiry.

I have updated my EOI on 14th February 2019 and now I have 75 points for 261313 job code. Any idea when can I expect invitation.

Submitted in July with 70 points for 189 and 75 for 190.

Resubmitted on 1st Sep with 75 points for 189 and 80 for 190.

Same job code, long wait?

I submitted my EOI last week with 80 points under Software Engineer (261313). With the new system after July 2019 of reduced quota by 42% do you think we will be able to get an invite?

You have god chances of invite with 80 points but with a bit of waiting. I think you should get invite in August 2019 draw.

So, unfortunately, didn’t get an invitation in either August or September draw. What do you think are the chances now, especially with the new point for spouse system starting in November?

@taher435 its a general consensus that there could be next to nil 189 invites to anyone below 85 points before the new November rules kick in.

I believe strongly that everyone should prepare themselves to gain as many points upfront for new rules in November, especially if you are married.

I think there are no 190 invite from VIC after June. The last one in tracker is of June!

Hi @Anil.Gupta. I have filed my original EOI on 28 March 2019 for 261313 (SW Engineer) . Now I have bettered my PTE and Updated EOI on 20/09/2019 with 75 points for 189 and 80 for 190(NSW and Vic), Any hope of invite before November? Please help.

Hi @G_Pzn

You might get invite from state VIC. Chances are good.
NSW is not inviting anyone who is currently not residing in NSW as per their new rules.

189 invite hopes are low before Nov.

Thank you so much for your kind reply. Do they accept PAN card as national ID for minors? Heard PAN comes with no photo for minors. We live in UK and have No Aadhar. So thinking about getting PAN for my 4 yr old.

Thanks a ton for your reply. Since my original EoI was on 28th March 19 before updating it with 80 pts on 20 Spet, how is the seniority calculated? Is Victoria inviting now?Any chance for 80 with SS in October round for 190 in 261313. Or should I prepare my spouse for pte to add 5 points in November? Pls could you advise?

Hi @G_Pzn

Your date of effect changes on the date the points change. Your position in the queue is defined by date of effect.

You should try and get the spouse points if you can to improve your chances of invite.

Hello Sir, I have applied for EOI on 06/04/2019 with 70 points for 261313 for 189 and it got updated to 75 points after spouse/partner skills were added for 189 subsequently and date of effect shows up as 10/07/2019 with 75 points… Also November 16 rules change will give me 5 additional points for spouse assessment. How soon can I expect an invite?

You should be able to get an invite by Dec 2019 with 80 points.

Hi

I submitted my EOI in January 2019 with 70 points under the software engineer category (261313) for subclass 189. However, in November, after the points change for singles, I will earn 10 extra points. Hence my score will be 80 with EOI date of effect as 22.01.2019.

What would be my chances of invite under 189 visa subclass and time of waiting?

I have last updated my EOI on 14th feb 2019 for 261313 job code on 75 points. I am single and I understand I will be getting 10extra points after 16th nov. I have two questions:

Will my EOI date will get updated to 16th nov?
With current invite status and change in points when can I expect invite?
