You will have good chance of invite in Dec 2019 with 85 points.
As per current information, it seems that Australia Immigration does not plan to change the date of effect with points change on Nov 16.

I have applied my EOI on June 22 2019, with recent changes my points are as per below
- 189 - 75 points.
- 190 - 80 points.
- 491 - 90 points.
I have included my spouse points and she has same job code as mine - software Engineer.
Please suggest, what are the chances for 189 and 190 visa and which Regionals or territories are available for 261313 - Software engineer, for me to apply.

Chances of 189 invite with 75 points are low as this time for software engineer.
Chances are good for invite by Victoria. NSW will not invite if you are not living in NSW currently.
I don’t know about 491 yet.

Hi Anil, My spouse also have cleared pte on Nov 15th. The skillselect account has been updated with that. Do i have to separately update the eoi to get 5 ponits fro spouse English test.? Also do we have to have offer of employment for 491 for SA in 261313? Plese could you a swerthe two queries?

As per the new NSW rules, there is no chance of invite if you are not currently living in NSW, Australia.
The 189 invite chances are also low with 75 points as per current trend.
Hi @Anil.Gupta, Thanks for the reply. May I know for 189 visa, minimum how many points should I achieve to get the invite? If I appear of English examination again and score 20 then will there be good chances ?
Also for current points 75, do you think the trend will change next year and they can accept 75 points too for 189 in next year 2020 , may be after 9-10 months waiting?

It is not possible to estimate anything for next as the immigration laws in Australia are changing quite fast.
Till last year in Dec 2019, people were getting software engineer invites with 75 points easily. But, this year, 75 pointers have not got a single invite.
So, you never know what can change and when.
I suggest to increase points to 80 or 85 to improve your chances.

I received positive ACS in April 2019. I have 65 points if I apply for 189 without claiming spouse’s points. My wife works for an IT company and is working as a software quality auditor. I just wanted to check what are the new rules coming in November? Can any of the rules be beneficial for me and can increase my chances of invite? Please suggest!

You might get a 190 invite but chances of 189 invite are low with 75 points after Nov 2019 changes.
@Anil.Gupta I have 80 points for 189 and have been waiting for my invitation since June. As they are not inviting more than 100 people, I’m expecting the invitations will normalize from December 11 invite.
Issue is my age will increase in October. Since I have not received an invite will it affect my points?
If it has to affect my points, will i need to connect at skillselect site and change the points or it will happen automatically?
Similarly, since I’m single yet - will i need to change (claim) points manually on the site after November or it will automatically consider them - reason I ask is immigration does give preference to people who apply first and any change pushes us back in the queue.
