I am on H1B visa and i will be going for visa stamping in India soon and currently in the process of filling out DS-160. This will be my 2nd time as i have gone through in-person interview before so probably will be a drop box this time.
Also i have received 221g during first time since i was arrested for public intoxication charge ( The case was deferred and dismissed) and i had to go through medical evaluation and the reports were sent to the consular and i got the visa as well.
Since this is my 2nd time, i wanted to get clarification on the following
Do i need to select “yes” again in the DS-160 question - Have you ever been arrested or convicted for any offense or crime, even though subject of a pardon, amnesty, or other similar action? and explain the details.
Do i need to go through the process again?
Please help and if any members had gone through a similar situation, please advise.
Thanks again to this wonderful forum for helping out on the immigration topics.
