5 year old signature on renewal passport

Hi,

I need to apply for passport renewal for my 5 year and 2 months old child. She can’t write her name, so what should we do? Can we put her thumb print on the application and all other documents where signature required?

Thanks for the information. However my child can not write her name and she is 5.2 year old. So can she put her thumb print in documents instead of writing her name?

They will ask you to resubmit if you do thumb print (it’s happend to me). They asked me to help the kid to write the name by holding the kid’s hand.
