Applying for H4 visa, but don’t have a marriage certificate yet (as my husband in currently in US). Getting passport updated with spouse name before H4 visa appointment, carrying marriage affidavits from the priest, our parents, and both me and husband, along with wedding invitation card, lease document (although expired in December 2025), proof of being beneficiary on each other’s financial accounts, any available receipts for the wedding day and wedding photographs. What are the chances of H4 approval with these documents in the absence of marriage certificate?
