ACS assessment validity when applying for 189

Hi Group,

My ACS skill assessment expires in Jan 2023. I submitted my EOI and got an invite today to apply for subclass 189. Does the skill assessment need to be valid at the time of applying the 189 visa or does it only need to be valid when the invite is received?

I think it should be valid at the time of invitation.
If the case officer needs an updated one, they might request one again.

I suggest applying for an assessment again to keep one ready in case the officer requests it.
