Add current H1B visa validity to new H1B visa stamping

Question: Can I travel back to US in Jan 2025 after visa stamping

context: My stamped H1B visa is valid till Feb 20, 2025. H1B Extension approved from Feb 21, 2025 to Feb 19, 2028. I want to do visa stamping on Jan15 2025 with the recent approved petition.
My understanding is only one visa is valid so trying to figure out if there is a way to add current H1B visa validity to new H1B visa

They usually cancel the existing visa (at most US embassy) first and then stamp the new one.

Not all US embassies follow this process though. Some may leave the existing visa as it is in the passport and also stamp a new one.
