Are Handwritten affidavits acceptable for Indian Passport renewal?

Hi All, Can someone help with my query. In VFS Global, can Annexure E, Self sworn Affidavit, and Affidavit for Change of Appearance and Sign be handwritten? I see they are uneditable.

or Do I have to do a PDF editor thing?

Hi @Navya_B , Can you please let me know which documents were hadnwritten? also did you write on the checklist?

one more questions is, I see of affidavit for change of appearance , looks like the photo size is not 2x2 inches.

i have handwritten on Annexure E, Self sworn Affidavit, and Affidavit for Change of Appearance and Sign instead of typing. No, i did not write anything on Checklist except checking the checkbox. I attested 2*2 only as that is recommended

Did you get your updated passport with all these documents handwritten?

I wrote by hand the set of documents which are non editable and it seems to be fine as I see my passport has been sent for printing.

Hi @Navya_B did you put all the details handwritten? I am facing issue in displaying entire address and date of birth. Can only those details be hand written?
