Automatic extension of H4 EAD due to covid-19 conditions

Hi,

Does the following holds good for H4 EAD as well?

"
If You File in a Timely Manner. Nonimmigrants generally do not accrue unlawful presence while the timely-filed, non-frivolous EOS/COS application is pending. Where applicable, employment authorization with the same employer, subject to the same terms and conditions of the prior approval, is automatically extended for up to 240 days after I-94 expiration when an extension of stay request is filed on time."

There is no automatic extension of H4 EAD.

I have called USCIS to request expedited process for my H4 EAD and the agent who answered my call said H4 EAD is eligible for 180 day automatic extension, he even said to not to believe what there is on the web. I am really confused now.

Either the agent was wrong or you misunderstood agent’s response.

H4 EAD is not eligible for any sort of automatic extension at this time.

If you are still confused, talk to an attorney.
