California Notary Rules

I went to the Credit Union to notarize my documents. Instead of signing individual documents, he gave me 1 notary jurat and asked me to type a declaration with list of documents and attached as a cover to the jurat. He mentioned as per California law, he cannot sign individual document or provide a jurat for each document. Is that acceptable or will that create an issue at vfs? Any recommendation will be helpful. Thank you

It is acceptable. Don’t worry. Many notaries do it.

Hey! I am in the same boat. I went to the bank and they did not put any stamp on the document itself but on a separate Jurat certificate. Did it work for you?

Yes it worked.
Jurat certificate and a page stating the list of documents.
