Can I switch to another location with same employer with I-485 pending more than 180 days

Hello,

I have received an internal offer with my employer to relocate to another place along with a promotion. I am still in the same occupation and my I-485 has been pending for more than 180 days. In such a case can I make a move without requiring to go through the PERM and I-140 process again or do I have to redo it? If it matters my application is in EB-2 India with 09/2014 PD. Please advise.

You should be able to move without requiring a new PERM/i140.

I don’t see any issue.

You are not required to do it proactively. You can send when you get RFE.
