Can I work now with approved EAD with previous employer's petition

Hello,

Looking for your valuable guidance for the below case.

I had applied for H4 and H4-EAD on May 2021 via normal processing. While those applications were pending, my H1-B got approved by September 2021. As a result, I started working in H1B from mid of October. After a month, I received a H4 denial notice, but my EAD got approved and I got my EAD card valid until 2024.
My husband switched employer in 2022. Due to personal reasons I traveled to India in May for a extended vacation and got my H4 stamped with my husband’s current petition valid until 2025.

Can I work with the EAD card that I have now approved using my husband’s previous employer’s petition?

You should be able to use your H4 EAD card if your most recent i94 shows the status as H4.

Yes my latest i94 shows status as H4 but the validity in my H4 EAD card and I94 are different. Is that okay ?
