My spouse needs to renew her Indian passport while in US. She also needs to update the indian address that is printed on the passport. She is planning to submit address proof of her parent in India. The door number of house was changed often by government. Voter ID has the correct latest address. Can we submit voter ID of parent as address proof? Will that be accepted? And does it need to be self attested by parent in India or my spouse need to attest it in US.
