Chance if invite 263111 - Computer Network systems engineer 2019 Archive

Hi @Anil.Gupta,

As the official results for July’19 round are out now, can you provide some light on whether 75 pointers (or 85 points after 16 November) can get an invite in coming 5-7 months for 261313…(DOE August 2019).

Thank you.

Hi @Raspreet_Kaur

There is a chance for invite with 75 points for software engineer by October 2019 if the EOI was filed before June 2019.

For EOI filed after June 2019, the chances will be defined by what happens in November 2019.

Hi @Anil.Gupta,

I think the official results are out now…will you br able to provide me an update on when I can expect my invite? Sharing details here once again for your reference…
263111 computer Networks - date of effect June 19- 2019 . 75 points for 189 and 80 for 190- NSW and Victoria states.

Thanks

Hi @Atreya_1979

Does this help?

Hi Anil,
I checked my maximum possible score which could go upto 70 only, if I get 79+ in PTE, as I have crossed 33 years age, and have Bachelors degree and 7 years experience in ANZCSO 263111 in ACS assessment.
ACS gave me 7 years exp out of 11 years. I will complete 8 years (as per ACS) in October 2020, to gain extra 5 points (that means in Oct-2020 I can go to max 75 points in EOI).
I am not sure if I should really proceed with PTE exam and work hard to get 79+ (if that is of any value), or should drop the plan since 79+ in PTE will give me 70 points in EOI.
Is the state nomination is a hopeful option?
Please suggest.

Hi @info.aman

State option is still open. I suggest to give PTE a try.

Are you single or married as you may get extra points on November 2019 based on your marital status.

Thanks for the quick response Sir!! It could be a decision making advice for me.
I am married and have two kids.

Hi Anil,

hope you are doing good.

I had Applied for NSW state with 70 points ( which includes the State nomination) on May 15th 2019, but recently came to know that for NSW they give priority to people staying in NSW region for 1 year, so I edited my NSW EOI and submitted against Victoria State on July 28 2019, with same 70 points ( which includes the State nomination),
What are my chances of getting an invite this year Anil, appreciate your response.

HI @Anwar_Shamim

The chances are very low for an invite with 70 points from state or 189.

You should try and increase your points to at-least 75 to have any realistic chance as per my estimation.

Did you check if your points will increase in upcoming Nov 2019 points system change?

Thank you Anil., regarding the query you asked if my spouse can get the 5 points, so yes she is already planning to appear for the PTE exam for those 5 points.
So I guess with those 5 additional points our chances will improve for an invitation?

Thank you.

Hi @Anwar_Shamim

The more the points the better the chances.
With 75 points, there will be some waiting too.

Hi all,

I recently took PTE and got only overall 76 for all modules. Can I apply using this score for PR visa 190 because I understand 79+ is required for 189 Visa for better chances of getting the invitation.
I would like to keep me as a primary candidate and my wife and baby as a dependant. My wife received functional Pte score and she doesn’t have any work experience. So can I proceed with skill assessment for 263111 - Computer Network and Systems Engineer. Am I eligible to get a pr with 70 points for this ANZI code, i heard cut off is 80, will that be an issue. Please advise.

@jvd401 You have answered most of your questions.

You are correct that 70 points is a bit less at this time.

PTE Overall score is not considered, you will be granted points based on individual components.

Suggestions :

  1. Increase your PTE score to 79 across all 4 components
  2. For your wife to qualify for the additional 5 spouse points from November, she will need to be atleast at competent English (50 in each of the 4 components)

Thank you @ Vivek for your reply.

Hi Anil,
Need your guidance.

I am turning 40 on December 2019, so will be losing 10 points. Don’t have much time left. I have updated my EOI (189) today with 80 points for 263111. But looking at the low invites for August, I am not sure if I will get invite before November 2019.

I can’t claim points for spouse for English as well and skill set. So that option is not there for me to get benefit for November changes. Hence my chances will reduce further after November changes.

I also did my skill assessment for 262112, which is non pro rata. However, I did not submit EOI as I was scared that it might reject my PR, if they finds 2 EOI submitted with different skill sets.

But now after the disappointed rounds of August, I am very nervous. Although I have submitted 190 (VIC) for 263111 as well, but the rejection rate of Victoria is very high. So I don’t want to depend on 190 for Victoria.

Kindly suggest me what are the options I have to get invite and PR.

  1. Do I have strong chance to get invite for my current 189 EOI (263111) with 80 points before November ?
  2. If NO, do you suggest to submit 2nd EOI (for 262112) as well ? Will it have negative impact on my PR application ?
  3. Any other options you can suggest me as I don’t have much time left due to age ?

Hi Anil,

After very low invite in August, do I stand strong chance to get 189 invitation with 80 points for 263111, before November ?

EOI date - yesterday

@Avdhesh The August invitation round results and the new November regulations looming, we are all left between a rock and a hard place. My belief, with the current rules, 80 points is a favourable number. However, the DOE could push you into the new rules (post November 16th)

How do your points look with the new rules ?

Occupational ceilings are good for 2631 (Computer and network professionals) are at 2553. (77 have been issued in July). So, still a healthy number available.
