Change of appearance form for tatkal Indian passport reneal

Hi, I have a same doubt?. I had got my passport when i was 19 now im 29 ofcourse I have gained little weight and slightly fair complexion. Can I apply for tatkal passport renewal? And do i need to select my appearance has changed? If do that will they reject and send it?.

Please help me with this. I am applying in Newyork consulate. If anybody had same experience please share

Yes, you should say ‘appearance has changed’ and submit the affidavit. Even if we do not realize that appearance has changed, it indeed does change every 2 years or so.
