I have a general question regarding Indian passport renewal in USA. While submitting the online application, I didnt select the Change of Appearance checkbox but read on internet that for 10-y passport validity, change of appearance form is mandatory. is that correct? Has anyone kept this checkbox unticked but submitted notarized change of appearance form anyways, for consideration. How did that go?
Any guidance would be appreciated.
