Changing to another business unit- same job

I’m job is forced to move from current central team to the individual business. the location, title, roles and responsibilities are exactly the same. Currently my GC PERM is in progress ( waiting on DOL approval). My question is will this internal transfer to another business unit will impact my GC PERM? I believe all the Business units roll up into the same company at parent level, but each BU has its own entity.

First of all, PERM/GC is a future job and has nothing to do with your existing job except it may be the same position as existing however in future. So any changes to your H1B job do not impact processing of PERM application.

If there are no material changes to your job (location in different MSA, considerable change in job role/duties etc), you don’t need an amendment to H1B.
