Child's passport has less than 6 month's validity. Will there be any issue in stamping?

Child’s passport has less than 6 month’s validity. Validity ends on 06/10/2024 and stamping is on 2/9/2024. There is this new rule that exempts Indian passport to have 6 months of validity.

Has anyone gotten stamping done with passport with less than 6 months validity?

Why do you want to take a risk if you do know that there is this 6 month validity rule?
