I created an EOI for Australian Immigration and mistakenly claimed 5 points against Australian Study Requirement - for skilled migration and got invitation from South Australia against 491 visa category. I’ve just updated my EOI and found that I’ve 70 points total against mistakenly claimed of 75 points. Will appreciate if anyone can guide me for further action as I’ve 14 days to complete the application of South Australia.
You can submit the proofs and try your luck.
Most probably, they will reject the application but it depends on the case officer.

I updated my EOI with the valid information and 5 points were reduced. I received whole invitation from SA then after and submitted the visa application in 2022. My current status is “Further Assessment” and I am waiting for the visa grant now.
Oh ok, so you waited for another invitation or just update that on EOI?
I mistakenly claimed points for PY ICT Computing for a medical technician as question in EOI was so confusing. I thought I have to mention all PY I have done. my overall points is 90 including 5 from PY.
Tho I only need 65 as I received state nomination from ACT. I hope they will consider this as an inadvertent mistake.

I did not wait for another invite (That would kinda risky). I updated the same EOI and then apply for the pre-invite that I had received from SA. Within a week, I received whole invitation and submitted my Visa application.
