I’m currently in the process of renewing my Indian passport from the USA and came across something confusing — I selected a specific passport booklet type 60 pages on the Government of India passport application form, but when I reached the VFS Global portal, it automatically showed a different booklet type and didn’t match my selection.
I’m wondering if anyone else has faced this issue.
Is this considered a minor mistake or a serious error that could delay the process?
Do I need to take action or raise a ticket with VFS, or will it be corrected automatically during processing?
Any advice or experiences shared would really help others in the same situation.
