Does current approved H4 EAD have issue with H4 Visa Stamping?

Hi,

I have an approved H4 and H4 EAD until Sep 2023 but my visa is expired. I am travelling to India in April and booked a visa stamping appointment (drop box). Two questions:

  1. Does my I94 change when i travel back to US?
  2. does this visa stamping cause any issues to my current EAD? Asking since i guess I94 will change.

No. You will present your current I-797 and CBP will issue I-94 with same # as the I-94 attached to your I-797.
