Dropped documents for h4 and I see refused

Hi ,

I dropped my documents on 30 th of Jan for H4 and 16 Feb it shows Refused . No email anything from consulate. Can any one please let me know if they are in the same boat …

It’s does not mean Visa is refused. Admin processing might be going on and it will eventually be Approved (in most cases; unless they ask for more info through 221(g)).

The status just got updated today in the website. The status changed from refused to administrative processing. Meanwhile I received an email from VAC to submit my passport but I haven’t received passport it is with the embassy only. This is confusing.
