DS160 - Monthly income in local currency (if employed) - Visiting India

Hi,

I will be travelling to India and filed DS160 and got the drop box appointment, however while reviewing the DS 160, I have confusion at the question “Monthly income in local currency (if employed)”. Should it be in USD or convert US salary in INR? I have converted US monthly salary in INR and added in that field.

Also is there any limit on how many times we can submit DS160 for correction?

It should be your US salary in USD (i.e. currency in which you are paid).
No limit on number of DS160 submission. Use the one with latest and right info for your appointment.
