EAD to H1B do needs go for counselor process and get H1b stamping?

Hi Anil,

I got laid off on my h1b in March 2025. Then switch to EAD (spouse). My h1b has been revoked by employer. If i switch back to h1b . Do i needs to go for counselor process and get stamping done in india ? If yes do i needs to pay 100k fee ? I do have approved i 14. Pls clarify. Appreciate your response.

If you keep staying in the US and file H4 to H1B change of status, then you should not need to pay 100k.
