Estimation for Civil Engineering(233211) invitation 189 and 190 in 2019

Hi @Pankaj_Bhardwaj

Iscah’s estimate is good.

If you are eligible for 491, go for it.

Can you give your estimate of how long someone on 80 points for 189 visa will have to wait for an invite? Thanks

Sorry @Bres90
I have stopped giving case by case estimates due to lack of time.

Hello Anil

Currently I have 80 points for 190 and 491 with 5 points regional sponsorship.
But my worry is I have just 32 months of experience and 10 months experience is as Trainee.

Are there any chances of getting any invitation if I lodge the EOI?
Does more experience means more chances?

Hi @Kashif_Khan

The invite depends on the ANZSCO code and the points. You have not mentioned what job code you are applying for.

ANZSCO code is 233211 for Civil Engineer.

Hi @Kashif_Khan

More experience means more points and more points means better chances of invite.

At this time, chances are fair for invite with 80 points for state.

Is it necessary to have at least 2 years of experience to get the invitation for a Civil Engineer?

I am not aware of any such condition.

Hi Anil, What are the chances of receiving state nomination from Northern Territory for a civil engineer with 75 points in case of offshore application? Kindly reply.

Sorry, I don’t know about chances of invite for any state.

NT is currently closed for offshore applicants. Only NSW opened for offshore applicants who are having min 5 years experience. But as of now they are not issued any visa due to Covid. Minimum 90+ points required for any offshore civil engineering applicant these days.
