I have my H1B extension approved with my older client and is valid till October 2024 with my home as work location. Earlier project got ended recently and I got a new project which is also work from home. However, in the Vendor letter the project end date is mentioned as 31st October 2022, also I cannot get a client letter. Though, work location has not been changed, my employer is planning to file an amendment for new client.
I would like to know if my H1B time period would be reduced from 2024 to 2022 with this amendment as the vendor letter has end date as October 2022.
